libre

I designed a distributable postcard that could be blown up on a photocopier and cut into a booklet of the libreculture manifesto - a document explaining and promoting the Copyleft movement.

The incredibly UnTalented...

A group project in which we choreographed a dance where the dancer was entirely manipulated by an unseen crew. Stills.

Shed

For a New Religion brief we erected a shed on Putney bridge to stop passing commuters for some relaxing shed time. The idea was based upon Dads' refuge often being a shed. Here's a photo of it complete with welcome mat and flying ducks in the studio.

House

When a house is not a home. When traces of past people remain.

Visitors

Two responses to the idea of a visitor.
One, a still life of a hospital table mapping the kind of things left by visitors.
The second, an image of a dinner guest exploring scale through props.

Sunrise projection

Photographing my silhouette as I photograph a summer sunrise. The brief was 'Transforming the Landscape' and I was working under the principle that simply to be present in a landscape to witness it transforms it, inspired by the Observer Effect in Physics.

Playing Cards

These cards provide visual and verbal triggers and starting points for creative endeavour. If you're blocked just deal out three cards and see what it provokes.

Charged moments

Actors portraying powerful moments taken out of context of the original films.

Army Green

A visual contradiction between colour and form

Emotional colour

Desaturated and drained photographs of the urban landscape expressing alienation and loneliness.
